Today was our first full day in Hoi An, after arriving later than we hoped for last night. As you can see Hoi An township and surrounds are really interesting, and a great location to take some photos, yes it is somewhat on the touristy side, however not in your face and the food, including the street food was really impressive.

Most of these above photos were take on a day trip north of Nha Trang, where we visited several beaches. One thing that started to press on us was the weather, we were traveling in January. Once we headed North Of Ho Chi Minh city the weather slowly deteriorated as we headed north and continued to cool. Certainly still Ok for traveling, well for most of the time, but certainly not warm enough to enjoy the regular beach activities.

There boat rides were one of the highlights if the trip down to the Delta, however just a little on the touristy side, but still a great experience.

The trip to the Mekong Delta was certainly a worthwhile trip, as one can see by the photos. There are so many differing and interesting places within this delta area. One thing that initially came as a bit of a surprise, was how industrialised and populated the area is. However these places of interest can be found within this large expanse.
